Welcome!

This year is well on it's way, and what a lovely year I have planned.  I am continuing my yoga ritual and hope to encourage Sage, my daughter, into joining me when she finds the time.  I am nurturing my soul with Buddhist philosophy and by attending my new Church regularly.  I mentioned earlier that I had become a UU!  I continue to meet fellow UU's wondering where in the world I had been until now!
I love my monthly reading group and have maintained my personal promise to read an additional book each month in between scheduled reads.
Michael and I enjoyed the first in our live theatre date nights by seeing "Dearly Beloved" after a fine dinner at a little known eatery in the Tower District called Veni Vidi Vici.  We arrived well before the Club Crowd so we avoided the cover charge and the embarrassment of getting carded at the door!
February brings two, yes, two Crab Feeds!  We will support both Sage's soccer program and the Clovis Rotary by pigging out on all you can eat crab!  Yum!
At the end of the month we plan to be in San Francisco for a quick trip and stop by our good friend's home in Walnut Creek to be one of the first to experience their newly completed remodel.
In April I will join my fellow Yogis for a 3 day retreat at the Land of Medicine Buddha located near Big Sur.  I attended a couple of years ago and returned feeling spiritually refreshed.
I have signed up to Host a Circle Supper in October, the best outdoor month of the year and we hope to host a number of other events throughout the year...my calendar is filling up!
Chase spent six weeks with us for his winter break and I was sad to see him get on the train to head back "home" in mid January.  He is hoping to secure a job in the Bay Area this summer.  He is also looking forward to his birthday in San Francisco in October and the play Beach Blanket Babylon which I promised him.  An event he will most thoroughly enjoy.
I have secured the camping site for 10 days at Huntington Lake in July for the sailing regatta.  I will try to post some photos on a personal page at some point in the future...stay tuned!  I can't wait for the season to begin.
For the moment I am working on self.  Getting to know "me" in an intimate way so the I can optimize the enjoyment of myself and others

So again I encourage you to "Enjoy the Journey!"
